At St. Lawrence Secondary School, Ilze Hillier, teacher, and Dean Stanley, Rotarian Project Advisor, started the Interact Club at SLSS. Their first project with a group of secondary students was to do a food drive for the Agape Centre.

Five weeks of soliciting family and friends created a huge pile of donated food.

Interact is Rotary International’s service club for young people ages 12 to 18. Interact clubs are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs, which provide support and guidance, but they are self-governing and self-supporting.
