What: Explore Cornwall and area's artistic side. Enjoy wall-to-wall art, and place your vote for the annual juried exhibition's People's Choice Award.

Official book launch/history event: 'Shadows in the Tree' by author Jennifer DeBruin
What: Discover the humanity in history. Join DeBruin for a 30-minute presentation (2:30 p.m.) about the history/people that inspired Shadows in the Tree.

Agape Centre: 'Coldest Night of the Year WALK'
What: Lace up for a fundraising event with 'sole.' The 2/5/10km fundraising walk will start and finish at the Agape Centre.

Roy and Cher's Rescue Farm: 'A Magical Night for the Animals'
What: Animal lovers can rejoice at a spaghetti supper fundraiser boasting magic by Ryan Lalonde, musical entertainment by Big J's DJ Services, and a contortionist act by Angie Dilaj. All proceeds will support the animal care team from Roy and Cher's Rescue Farm.
Cost: $20 per person.

Heart & Stroke Foundation: 'Curl for Heart Bonspiel'
What: This is a Bonspiel for seasoned curlers and newbies to the sport in support of the local Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Cost: $100 per team.
Where: Cornwall Curling Centre, 220 Water Street East.
When: Saturday, Feb. 22 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
MOSHPIT MADNESS: Erebos, Killitorous, Here Comes Bigfoot, Bookakee, and Obyrne set to rock VU
What: A metal concert that is a guarenteed to melt your face off.
Cost: $10 per person. All ages/19+ with ID to drink.
Where: Vu Night Spot, 113 ½ Pitt Street.
When: Saturday, Feb. 22 from 6:60 p.m. to closing.
Chuck Leclair & Joe Hehir play Grumpy's w/special guest violinist Rebecca Runions
What: A night of live music, great food, cold drinks, and folk & fiddle. Guests wearing a Canadian sports jersey in support of the Olympics have a chance to win a free pitcher of beer.
