CORNWALL, Ontario – A metal band with local ties is bringing their heavy and energetic sound back to the Seaway City for an intimate show.

Every Time I Die with Ryan ‘Leg$’ Leger, Cornwall’s very own drum hero, is taking the stage at Vu Night Spot on Friday, September 19.

Fans of the American metalcore band from Buffalo are clamoring for tickets, which run for $25.

The show’s promoter Drew4Mayor Productions said there are about 150 left. Tickets went on sale Friday, July 11, and 25 per cent of them sold in the first six hours.

People can expect exactly what Every Time I Die is known for,” said Mat Drouin, the man behind Drew4Mayor Productions. “These metalcore veterans deliver crazy energy – it’ll be one helluva show.”

Every Time I Die’s last Cornwall show was held at the Agora Catholic Centre in August 2013.

“We had a good turnout, however, it was in a very large venue. This time the guys requested something a little more intimate,” said Drouin.

Every Time I Die is touring across Canada with Counterparts and Expire. Their seventh full length album, titled ‘From Parts Unknown’ was released on July 1, via Epitaph Records.

The doors at Vu open at 7:00 p.m. The metal madness kicks off at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at ticketscene.ca, Melody Music, Vu Night Spot, and Ottawa’s Long & McQuade.
