Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers is once again hosting a comedy night to help raise much-needed funds. On Oct. 16, well-known comedian Lucien will be taking the stage at Aultsville Hall poking fun at life. The public is invited to join us that night for a few laughs while raising the funds to continue the fight against crime.
“All monies raise from this evening and other fundraiser Crime Stoppers does cover the costs of running the program,” says Police Coordinator Pete Robertson. “The program is designed on the principle that criminals are not the only ones with knowledge of specific crimes. Crime Stoppers accepts information anonymously—you never have to appear in court and you qualify for a reward of up to two thousand dollars if your tip leads to an arrest,” Robertson continued.
Tickets for Lucien are available at Scotiabank on Brookdale Avenue for $30 or through the box office at the Cornwall Civic Complex.
