Great things happen when school, home and community work together! The power of this partnership was proven at Immaculate Conception Catholic School’s first Art and Silent Auction held Tuesday, May 5, 2009. Thanks to friends at Scotiabank for supporting the event and helping make the dream for Immaculate Conception become a reality. Maurice Dupelle, school council chair, shared his vision with school council back in the fall. School council, teachers and students embraced the concept and the event evolved into a brilliant evening. The overall purpose was to raise money to buy play structure equipment and to have game lines painted in the yard.
