Biography
After graduating from La Citadelle Catholic Secondary School, in Cornwall, in June of 1998, Joël attended Niagara College in St. Catherines, Ontario, and graduated near the top of his class in the Journalism-Print program in 2001.
Following graduation, Joël spent two years studying English Literature and History at Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario. In 2003 Joël returned to Cornwall to work in broadcast radio as an operator, creative writer and part-time on-air personality.
After nearly seven years with Corus Entertainment, Joël was hired by Seaway News as a full-time reporter and webmaster in March of 2010. Joël is also the co-editor of Seaway News and Cornwall Express.
