Plans for the 2012 Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce Spring Home & Leisure Show are well under way and there will be a full house of the latest in goods and services for area homeowners.
“The chamber’s spring show gives Cornwall and area consumers a wonderful taste of the warm weather to come,” said chamber executive manager Lezlie Strasser. “After having gone through a typical Cornwall winter, the chamber team looks forward to presenting our colourful spring show for the community, one that attracts well over 6,000 visitors.”
More than 100 exhibitors will be featuring everything from patios, decks and gardens, to siding and roofs, windows and doors, BBQ’s, RV’s, boats and more, the chamber said in a release.
The popular indoor Long Drive Championship is back once again giving golfers and duffers alike a chance to show their stuff. The chamber has brought back the BBQ challenge with local would-be chefs, competing for bragging rights while at the same time, giving visitors delicious samples to enjoy.
This year’s spring show will once again present a grand prize and this year, one visitor will walk away with a $5,000 exhibitor shopping spree . The spring show launches on Friday, March 30 and continues until Sunday, April 1 at the Cornwall Civic Complex. Exhibitors should note there are very few spaces available and to secure one they should act as soon as possible.
