Your Credit Union is making a $50,000 pledges to a couple of city organizations.
The credit union announced this week it will assist in the fundraising initiatives of St. Lawrence College and the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation.
Your Credit Union will donate $ 5,000 a year over the next five years to complement the college’s annual fundraising campaigns. The $25,000 commitment supports the college’s mission to provide valued learning experiences that make a difference.
At the same time, Your Credit Union announced an equal commitment to assist the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation in its ongoing fundraising campaigns aimed at enhancing the quality of health care at the hospital. The $ 25,000 commitment recognizes the importance CCHF plays in providing an integral role to better the “hospital experience” and convenience for patients, their families, health care employees and visitors alike.
“Your Credit Union is committed to building our communities by strengthening our partnership with both St. Lawrence College and Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation,” said Your Credit Unions executive vice-president Joel Lalonde. “While we continue to demonstrate our support of these fundraising efforts, our desire is to build on this commitment.”
