NAV SPA is the latest world-class amenity to be added to the NAV CENTRE, Eastern Ontario’s largest conference and special events venue.
The luxurious and welcoming spa, managed by Linda Arsenault-Graham, features sauna and massage rooms, manicure and pedicure areas, hairstyling facilities as well as cosmetic consultations by Dr James Lacey. A wide range of services are offered by the NAV SPA, including body treatments, registered massage therapy, facials, nail care, laser hair reduction, Botox, filler injections and peels − all that a guest could wish for.
“The NAV SPA will ensure that guests leave relaxed and rejuvenated,” said Kim Coe-Turner, General Manager of the NAV CENTRE. “The spa helps complete our customer care offerings, making the NAV CENTRE an all-in-one venue for your meeting, leisure and wellness needs.”
"This is a great investment in Cornwall that will have positive impact on the local economy," said City Councillor Bernadette Clement. "NAVSpa is a great addition to Cornwall's growing list of world-class amenities. I am especially pleased that NAV CENTRE has chosen to partner with a local enterpreneur in Linda Arseneault-Graham. The synergy of powerful external marketing and community connections will prove to be a great recipe for success."
Linda Arsenault-Graham, who has more than 30 years experience in massage and esthetics, will manage NAV SPA's staff of friendly and knowledgeable registered massage therapists and estheticians. Linda and her team are trained to offer the same consistent, high quality service that distinguishes the NAV CENTRE.
"After 26 years of running my own business I jumped at the chance to help create something unique and world-class," says Linda Arsenault-Graham. "I will continue to offer the same attention to detail and commitment to excellence that my customers have come to expect from me."
“We wanted to work with Linda because of her expertise running a leading spa as well as her excellent reputation for client service in Cornwall,” says Coe-Turner. “Dr. Lacey brings with him the latest innovations in anti-aging procedures, based out of his highly-regarded practice in Ottawa.”
Dr. Lacey is an Ottawa-based surgeon who will be providing consultations and after surgery follow-up care from the NAV SPA. Dr. Lacey's impressions of Cornwall changed significantly when he visited the City a year ago. "This is not the Cornwall I was expecting. This is a City with a lot to offer. I see a beautiful setting. Somewhere where I would even consider living. I see friendly people. I see teamwork...I see growth. I see expansion," says Lacey.
Combined with the newly renovated sports facility, NAV FIT, guests of the Centre can be pushed by a personalized trainer or pampered by an adept massage therapist.
The opening of NAV SPA follows the complete renovation and launch of Propellers Restaurant, which offers guests a modern restaurant backed up by an award-winning culinary team. The restaurant offers 3 separate dining rooms with their own unique charm and view, outside courtyard and patio with waterfront views.
The construction and finishing work for NAV SPA was completed by Cornwall contractor Robert J. Bourgon & Associates Ltd., who won the project through a very competitive local bid.
"NAV SPA was a complex project with exceptionally tight timelines but the NAV CENTRE staff and Linda were wonderful to work," said Chris Markell, Vice-President. "The SPA looks great, and I look forward to trying it out soon!"
Unlike familiar urban meeting facilities, NAV CENTRE is situated on 70 acres of parkland along the St. Lawrence River. Guests have everything they need to unwind, including an indoor lap pool, saunas, soccer fields, baseball diamond, tennis and volleyball courts, and rental bikes to explore 40 kilometres of pathways.
