Dr. Joel Leger and Dr. Kylie Draper only recently opened the doors of their Chiropractic, Acupuncture and Physical Rehabilitation Clinic, and have already expanded their services to include registered massage therapy.

“We are very pleased to have hired Megan Crossthwaite, RMT to work with us”, said Dr. Leger.  “Massage Therapy can certainly play an important role in the health and well-being of an individual, and we see it as complimentary to our other services.”

Ms. Crossthwaite agrees.  “Massage therapy goes hand in hand with injury prevention, rehabilitation and whole body health.  It is an integral part of your overall health and wellness strategy.”

Dr. Draper is excited about the addition of massage to the Spine Care Plus+ team.  “Ms. Crossthwaite offers different types of massage including; Therapeutic massage, Connective (deep) Tissue massage, Sports massage, and Pre-natal massage. It has been proven that massage improves sleep patterns and reduces anxiety, stimulates increased circulation, and brings vital nutrients to body tissues.  This is a wonderful complement to our other services.”

Together, these three young health professionals will work to return you to optimum health after injury, to identify structural issues, correct the initial problem, improve your overall performance, and maximize your health and wellbeing.

“It is exciting to see young professionals establishing themselves and growing in Cornwall,” said Candy Pollard, Business Consultant with the Cornwall Business Enterprise Centre.  “Our community will certainly reap the benefits that come with their knowledge, skills and enthusiasm.”
