The Downtown Cornwall Business Improvement Area is pleased to announce that a new farmers’ market is setting up shop in Downtown Cornwall. The Cornwall Farmers’ Market will be located in George Assaly Lane on Pitt Street, between Second and Third. The market will be opening for the season on Victoria Day weekend, Saturday, May 16. Vendors will be selling their products from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. More market details will be made available in the next few weeks.

The Cornwall Farmers’ Market is Downtown Cornwall’s showcase of local growers, artisans and lifestyle choices. You’ve heard the “buy local” message many times. This is an opportunity to do just that at the market! Purchasing locally produced goods makes sense from an economic, environmental and community perspective. It is important that we all support our local growers and artisans.

Visit www.cornwalldbia.com for vendor information, live art performances and various demonstrations, harvest times and other market news. You can also contact Gaye Adams at 613-933-4004 extension 225 for additional information.
