House warming BBQ

Steven Iwachniuk, Broker and Julie Quesnel, Sales Representative with Exit Realty Seaway, spent their Sunday afternoon flipping burgers on the grill. Not so out of the ordinary you may say. However, on July 19th Steven and Julie flipped burgers at their client’s home in Long Sault and hosted a house warming BBQ for two happy home owners and 20 guests.

As part of a special “Thank You” for buying a home through the Steven Iwachniuk Real Estate Team, Steve’s Team hosts house warming BBQ’s for those clients who would like the opportunity to show their friends and family their new home. Not only does Julie take care of personally inviting each and every guest on behalf of the home owners, but Steve and Julie provide the food and beverages and even the BBQ. “Some of our clients have jumped at the opportunity to have a house warming BBQ” said Steven Iwachniuk. “It’s something that’s a bit different and hopefully makes our service stand out”.

Many of the guests at the party thought that the idea of having a BBQ was a wonderful one. “They commented that they had never heard of the idea before and they couldn’t believe that a Team of realtors would take the time to throw a party for their clients’ friends and family”, said Julie Quesnel, a buyer’s agent with the Steven Iwachniuk Team. One guest commented that the BBQ was a “classy touch”.

The home owners, Lianne Julien and Joey Piquette, were the first home owners to benefit from the Team’s House Warming BBQ. Other house warming dates are beginning to fill Steve and Julie’s calendar. “We are busy listing and selling homes but we feel that it is definitely important to provide the best customer care possible before, during and after the sales transaction. By throwing a house warming BBQ for our clients, we know that it is appreciated”, said Iwachniuk. “We would like to congratulate Lianne and Joey on the purchase of their new home”, said Julie Quesnel. “We take pride in finding the perfect home for each buyer and I’m so excited to see Lianne and Joey in a home that they love”.
