StarTek wage increase

StarTek recently announced they need to hire over 150 in the next three months. It was also announced the starting wage for the new hires will be increased by $20 to $12 an hour. Current employees earning less than the new wage will also be increased to meet the new minimum. “It is great to be able to offer this wage increase,” said Robert Drover, site director for StarTek in Cornwall. “We provide a great work environment as well. Our philosophy at StarTek is to work and play hard in an atmosphere that is conducive to both.” “The new hires are required to meet our current client needs,” continued Drover. “We hope to have everyone hired and on the job by October.”
