Job fair attracts hundreds

The well attended Cornwall Job Fair was held on Wednesday, Feb. 24, at the Cornwall Civic Complex. The event included 39 booths with more than half the exhibitors actively hiring, said Bob Peters, senior development officer for the City of Cornwall. Among those were Matrix Logistics, Service Canada, Sigmapoint, Olymel Manufacturing, Farley Windows and Startek. The event also included workshops on -resume tips, networking skills, and interview skills, among others.
