Ontario Power Generation has made a $750 contribution to the South Stormont Chamber of Commerce in support of the Ident-a-Kid program and children’s activities during the Spring Home & Trade Show.

Ontario Power Generation tries to help improve the quality of life in its neighbouring communities. Through its Corporate Citizenship Program, OPG provides support for the community programs of many associations such as the South Stormont Chamber of Commerce. This safety program is also supported by Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers. The South Stormont Chamber of Commerce has also offered a booth at the Show as a venue to distribute OPG’s “Stay Clear, Stay Safe” water safety materials to visitors. “The South Stormont Chamber of Commerce Home and Trade Show is an event that showcases local businesses to the community,” said Chamber President Lesley O’Gorman. “Participation in these local events by companies such as Ontario Power Generation reinforces the corporate commitment to the area, its residents and local business people.”
