MP Guy Lauzon, on behalf of the Honourable Gary Goodyear, Minister of State for the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario, announced that a project in the Cornwall and Seaway Valley region is moving forward thanks to an investment under the Southern Ontario Development Program (SODP). Cornwall and Seaway Valley Tourism received a grant for $76,000 for a marketing campaign to promote tourism—in particular, winter activities— in area through print, television and radio ads. "Our government is committed to creating jobs and supporting the people, communities and businesses of southern Ontario," said Lauzon. "These types of investment will continue to stimulate the economy and help our local tourism industry."
