Are you a shoreline homeowner planning to do shoreline work in the near future? Do you own waterfront and want to know what your options are?

The Raisin Region Conservation Authority is pleased to present the first landowner workshop for 2009. This event is designed to provide a number of local representatives the opportunity to present information and answer your questions.

On Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Cooper Marsh Conservation Area & Visitors’ Centre, you can hear speakers from the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Department of Fisheries & Oceans, Resource Stewardship Council of Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry as well as Raisin Region Conservation Authority staff. Items of interest will include shoreline erosion, fish habitat, aquatic vegetations, naturalization and much more.
