Do your flower beds look as good as the ones at botanical gardens? Maybe you’re the type who can’t resist buying new plants and maybe, you plunk them in anywhere you can find space! The result is not always pleasing.

On Tuesday, Oct, 13 the Cornwall Horticulture Society’s guest speaker is Sigrun Schroeter. Sigrun will give the Society some ideas on how to organize plantings so that the effect is pleasing to the eye.

Anyone interested in gardening is invited to attend this meeting downstairs at the Navy Club, 30 Sixth St. E. in Cornwall. The meeting begins at 7 p.m. Attending your first meeting is free. Yearly membership fees apply afterward and entitle you to participate in all the extra Society social events as well as to attend the monthly meetings.

As an added bonus to membership, members will receive some fall bulbs at this meeting—just in time for planting.
