Ontario Power Generation has made a $500 contribution to Maison Baldwin House in Cornwall. This is to help support the programs offered to women sixteen years and older, with or without children, who have experienced issues of family violence. Temporary residential services are offered as well as non-residential services such as therapy, counseling and support for women who have experienced sexual assault.
Ontario Power Generation tries to help improve the quality of life in its neighbouring communities. Through its Corporate Citizenship Program, OPG enters into partnerships with many associations such as Maison Baldwin House to support the vital services offered to the community.
“OPG’s support will help Maison Baldwin House continue to offer its residential and non-residential services,” said Executive Director Debbie Fortier. “Maison Baldwin House relies on the generous donations of its sponsors in Cornwall and area, such as Ontario Power Generation, to maintain its operations and community programs.”
Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is celebrating its tenth year of service to the province. Building on a proud history, OPG provides the people and industry of Ontario with clean, safe and reliable electricity – just as it has always done.
