Scotiabank donates

Roy Nichol (second from left) and Sara Murphy (second from right) accepted a cheque for $2000 from Scotiabank's Cindy Picard (left) and Sheila Youmelle (right) for the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation. The money was raised from the "Spirit of a City" CD Release Event held at Indie Guitars/DreamBuilder Studios on November 7, 2009, and Scotiabank generously matched the funds the CD raised though their Community Partnership Program. The "Spirit of the City" Compilation CD has raised over $4000 to date, and all funds raised will help buy much- needed equipment for the Cornwall Community Hospital. Submitted photo
