On Oct. 10, Seaway Valley Crime Stoppers was at the Iroquois Plaza where the winning ticket for their 50/50 draw was pulled. The winning ticket was drawn in front of Mustard’s Variety store and the winner was Darlene Borden of Long Sault. She was presented with a cheque for $3,025 by Crime Stopper coordinator OPP Constable Pete Robertson on Oct. 19 at the Long Sault OPP detachment. Crime Stoppers wishes to thank all those who supported their 50/50 draw. Robertson stated, “It’s fundraisers like this that enables our program to continue operating at such a high level of success.”
