“Plume au chapeau!” to local singer, Kevin Rivette, who recently won a spot on the upcoming Québec talent search, “Fais Moi Ta Toune!” Over the past few years, the francophone crooner has been named Male Vocalist Champion at other such competitions, including Trois Pistoles en Chanson, in Trois Pistoles, Québec, and Propulse Ta Voix,  in ST-Alexandre de Kamouraska, Québec. All the best Kevin!

Finally, I want to congratulate, local musician, and my friend, Dale McSween, on his first ever public performance, at The Grind Café’s Open Mic Night, last week. He called it a “bucket list thing.” Thanks Chuck Leclair for providing this platform for emerging performers, of all ages. You both rock!

I want to take this opportunity to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and the happiest of New Year. Get out and enjoy some music, merriment and fellowship. Be safe.
