Screening of Bernadette the Movie

  • Details : The Catholic Church of Alexandria-Cornwall and the Port Theatre have teamed up to show the movie BERNADETTE beginning February 7, 2014 through February 13, 2014. The movie will be screened at 7:15 each evening with a special Matinée screening on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. Bernadette tells the remarkable story of St. Bernadette Soubirous, “the little saint of Lourdes”, from her early life of poverty, ill health and simple but profound faith that defined her as much as the appearances of the Virgin Mary to her beginning on February 11, 1858, to her entrance into the convent at Nevers, France. Bernadette, filmed on location in France, was selected to be the movie shown daily at Our Lady of Lourdes Shrine in France. Tickets are just $10 available at the door.
