  • Details : Transition Cornwall+ Food Film Series 2014, presents, Numen: the Nature of Plants Cornwall Public Library, Sunday, February 16, 1 p.m. This is the second in our hearty winter program of film and conversation offered by the food action group of Transition Cornwall+. The film is a powerful and inspirational exploration of the healing power of plants and the natural world. It has stunning footage and thought-provoking interviews important for everyone concerned about human and environmental health, including gardeners, medical practitioners and plant lovers. The series continues until April with two more films highlighting progress in reclaiming our food systems and making them safe, fair, ecologically sound, and sustainable. The Sunday afternoon event includes a warming cup of soup, the screening, and a post-film discussion. Admission is free and open to the public (donations welcome, as are Agape food donations).
