CORNWALL, Ontario - A Junkyard Symphony show at Notre-Dame Catholic Elementary School on March 13 left many children with big smiles on their faces.

The Ottawa-based band is well-known for their interactive shows for children which promote environmental health and awareness through entertainment.

The event was organized by Le Centre de resources familiales de l’Estrie program supervisors Shelly-Ann Mason, who looks after the before/after school program for children of ages four to 12, and Josée Hough, the daycare supervisor for children 18 to 36 months old.

“Almost 100 children between the ages of two-and-a-half to 12 years old had the pleasure to participate in the musical performance,” said Mason.
