United Way/Centraide of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry (SDG), through its Success by 6 program, is offering a slew of free activities over a two-week period in August.
ÔÇťWe are hosting a variety of activities for families and young children to enjoy throughout SDG ÔÇô take a look at the calendar of events and join us if you can,ÔÇŁ said Lori Greer, executive director of United Way SDG.
The local agencies' vision of the Success by 6 program is to promote healthy growth and development of young children during the first six years of life.
"Offering physical activity, reading, stories, and musical activity is a good start," said Greer.
The events planned in Ingleside, Iroquois and Maxville will take place inside at the libraries.
All other activities will be outdoors ÔÇô bring a blanket to sit on for the story times, dress comfortably for yoga and Zumba.
All outdoor events will take place, weather permitting.
