Kindergarten students at École Sainte-Lucie participate actively in the programme of "Roots of Empathy" offered by Laurie Legue.

Scientific research has proven that this programme helps reduce the levels of aggressiveness in students while teaching them social skills.

The main objective of “Roots of Empathy” is to build societies that are caring, societies that promote peace.  The programme develops empathy in students, preparing them for the future.  They are the adults of the generation to come.

Roots of Empathy is offered in schools in Canada, New Zealand and the United States.

In the photo, we see some kindergarten students of École Sainte-Lucie measuring baby Médéric.
