Passed away at Sterling Place Retirement Residence, Ottawa on Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at the age of 91 years, formerly of Cornwall. Beloved wife of the late Marcel St. Jean and by a first marriage the late Gordon Dupuis. Loved mother of Fay Burelle (Rosaire) of Ottawa. Sadly missed by her four grandchildren Marc Burelle (Elana), Sharon Burelle, Janice Castonguay (Jerome) and David Burelle (Judy); five great-grandchildren Justin, Philippe, Sylvie, Tyler, Katelyn; and one step-grandchild Natasha. Dear sister of Donalda Bissonnette (late Richard); Gordon Cooper (Myrna) both of Cornwall; and Eric Cooper (Louise) of Summerstown. Predeceased by her children Dwayne and June Dupuis; parents Benjamin and Lena (Dufresne) Cooper; brothers Arthur, George, Howard and John Cooper and sisters Grace Laplante, Janet Blanchard and Debra Lemieux. Resting at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt St. Visitation on Thursday, May 21 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Friday, May 22 from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Thérèse de Lisieux Church on Friday, May 22 at 11:30 a.m. Rite of Committal to follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Passed away on Monday, May 18, 2009 at the Ottawa General Hospital at the age of 55 years, formerly of Cornwall. Beloved wife of 35 years of Michel Leger. Dear mother of Michel (Jenny Lalonde), Sylvain (Diane Deschamps) and Andre (Amanda Currier) all of Cornwall. Dear sister of Darlene Trudel of Summerstown, Gail Allaire (Gerry), Reina Berniquer (Kelly) and Everett Piché (Jenny) all of Cornwall. Cherished grandmother of eight grandchildren, Michael, Michaela, Mark, McKenzie, Ashley, Jenna, Krystal and Samantha and great-grandson Gavin. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Dear daughter of the late Evariste Pichie and the late Laura Dixon. Resting at Boulerice Funeral Home Ltd., 218 Montreal Rd. (613-932-5455) on Wednesday, May 20 from 2 p.m. The Liturgy of the Word will be held on Thursday, May 21 in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 1 p.m. Cremation in South Branch Crematorium. Passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital – Civic Campus on Monday, May 18, 2009 at the age of 80 years. Loving husband of 61 years, Edna (Ladouceur) Carriere. Dear father of Rene Carriere (Christine) and Lise Stanley (Dean) both of Cornwall. Sadly missed by four grandchildren, Renée, Jarrett, Kristen and Jensen. Also survived by two sisters, Lucia Lalonde (late Lionel) and Aline Lalonde (late Bruno). Predeceased by his parents Gedeon and Celina (Gauthier) Carriere and by one brother Armand Ladouceur (Annette) and one sister Yvonne Villeneuve (late Henri). Friends will be received at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt St. (across from City Hall) on Thursday, May 21 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and on Friday, May 22 from 9:30 a.m. until time of service at 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy in the Chapel of the funeral home. Passed away at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on Friday, May 15, 2009 at the age of 62 years. Loving wife of 39 years, Harry Langlois. Dear mother of Chantal Langlois, Kelly Langlois (Ashley Dion) and Kevin Langlois (Kristin Chaisson) all of Cornwall. Sadly missed by five grandchildren, Alexis, Austyn, Bayley, Tyler and Cameron. Survived by two brothers Gerry and Richard Lacelle. Predeceased by her parents Norbert and Noella (Regimbald) Lacelle, three brothers Donald, Roger and Raymond and one sister Huguette. She leaves her good friends Tounne Tessier, Mary Smith, Joann Shorey and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Liturgy on Thursday, May 21 in the Chapel of M.
