Passed away at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care Centre on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the age of 95 years, formerly of Cornwall. Beloved wife of the late Wilfrid Saucier. Dear mother of Romuald Saucier (Shirley) and Marie Marion (Jean Gilles) both of Cornwall and Gerard Saucier (Jean) of Monkland. Loving grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste Cuerrier and the late Adele (Sabourin) Cuerrier. Dear sister of Lucien Cuerrier of Toronto. Predeceased by one brother Adelard Cuerrier and by three sisters Antoinette White, Desneiges Lalonde and Josephine Pilon. Resting at Lahaie & Sullivan Cornwall Funeral Homes, East Branch, 614 First St. East (613-933-2841) from 9 a.m., Monday, July 27. Funeral will be held on Monday, July 27 in the Memorial Chapel of the funeral home at 11 a.m., followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 9 a.m., until time of funeral. HEIGHT – Douglas John
Passed away at Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at the age of 84 years. Loving husband of 61 years, Sarah “Sadie” (Liscomb) Height. Dear father of Carol Poirier (Claude), Linda Donihee (Gerry McKay), David Height (Donna), Barry Height (Kim) and the late Allan Height (Darlene). Sadly missed by nine grandchildren, two step-grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by one brother Norman Height (Stella). Predeceased by his parents, James “Jimmy” and Rose (Lascelle) Height, two sisters Gloria Currier (Eddie), Mildred Height and one granddaughter, Melissa. Friends will be received at M. John Sullivan Funeral Home, 341 Pitt St. (across from City Hall) (613-938-1039) on Monday, July 27 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., ONLY. Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at St. Columban’s Church at 10 a.m. Rite of Committal in Memorial Hill Cemetery, Lunenburg.
