FILION - Anna

Mrs. Anna Filion (nee Champagne) passed away at the Cornwall Community Hospital, McConnell site, on Saturday, September 19, 2009, at the age of 90 years; formerly of Cornwall. Beloved wife of the late Noé Filion. Loved mother of Nicole Filion, Yolande Régnier (Terry), Gisèle Filion and her beloved dog Shadow, all of Cornwall, and one son, the late Marcel Filion (Era). Dear sister of Alice Giroux of Windsor, ON. Also survived by six grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Dear daughter of the late Domina Champagne and the late Rosina Villemaire. Predeceased by two brothers, Réné Champagne and Robert Champagne and two sisters Yvette Julien and Loretta Hodgins. Private service was held in the memorial chapel of Boulerice Funeral Home Ltd., 218 Montreal Rd. Interment in Nativity Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Arthritis Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family
