With great sadness we announce the passing of Olive Elizabeth MacMillan in her 97th year. Olive Elizabeth MacMillan née Robinson of Ingleside. Loving mother of Shirley Gillard (Dwayne). Mother-in-law of Edna Deschamps (Norbert). Dear sister-in-law of Betty Robinson and Katie MacMillan. Devoted grandmother of Randy, Ricky MacMillan, Kathy Chinery (Wayne), Karen Martineau (Jacques), Dougie MacMillan, Jeffrey Gillard (Danielle), Danny Gillard and Donna Markell (David). Sadly missed by 19 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her husband Melvin MacMillan in 1971 and one son Sheldon MacMillan February 1967; her parents John and Nettie (Marcellus) Robinson; one sister Viola Gallinger and four brothers Fred, Wilfred, Harold and Lloyd Robinson. Visitation will be held at the Brownlee Funeral Home MacDougall Chapel & Reception Centre 14815 County Road 2 Ingleside on Thursday from 9:30am until 10:45am. (A service in celebration of Olive MacMillan’s Life will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday, February 4, 2010 at 11:00am). Reverend Lois Gaudet officiating. Spring interment Maple Ridge Cemetery Chesterville. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations to the Winchester District Memorial Hospital or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
GLAUDE, Roger
Mr. Roger Glaude at the Cornwall Community Hospital - McConnell site on Tuesday, February 2, 2010 at the age of 69 years. Beloved son of the late Lawrence and Yvonne (Blais) Glaude. Loving brother of Anita Moquin of Cornwall. Roger will be sadly missed by his nieces and nephews Christopher (Margot) Moquin of Nova Scotia; Edward (Jeanette) Moquin of New Brunswick; Brigitte (Ian) Taillon, Alan Moquin and Cynthia Seguin all of Cornwall. In keeping with Roger's wishes no visitation will be held. Cremation has taken place. Rite of committal to take place at a later date in Nativity Parish Cemetery.
