The Blazers travelled all the way to Kingston for a Shield Cup game against the Cataraqui Clippers. It was a tough game but the Clippers were no match for the Blazers who were always first on the ball and hard on the ball never giving up. The first goal was by Isaac Brownlee who put it right between the posts. Next was a beautiful tip by Coty Casselman to make it 2 - 0. Finally a scramble in front of the net saw Colton Gallant potting in the third goal. The Blazers were missing their goalie and their back-up goalie but Chris Millward did a superb job as keeper earning a shut out. Great work by mid-fielders Dany Alleyn, Colton Gallant, Jacob Proulx and Kielian MacCulloch who delivered many great chances for the strikers. The next Shield Cup game for the Blazers will be August 23rd. The Blazers remain undefeated.
