Volunteers Receive "Trillium Award" from MPP

Margaret and Angelo Towndale were honoured recently for their volunteer work to the community. They received the Jim Brownell "Trillium Award" for their work and care to the community, always done with compassion and love to humanity. Angelo was particularly recognized for his love for children, especially his work and volunteerism for the Children's Treatment Centre, while Margaret was recognized for her volunteerism with the Cornwall Community Hospital.

This year's "Trillium Award" was an original piece of art, featuring the White Trillium, painted by Brenda Alguire, a well-known local artist.
