Jordan Savard was diagnosed at 18 months of age with severe global developmental delays. Then just two months shy of his third birthday, he was diagnosed with autism. He is in his first year of school at Kinsmen and has received a “Good Attitude” award for a “great transition” into his school. No matter the odds, he perseveres with a big smile on his face, and never allows anything to get him down—no matter what. And while he may never accomplish the life goals we all strive to achieve, what he has accomplished in his young life is to show us how very blessed we are to have children like him in our lives. As the Eastern Ontario Training Board’s November’s Kid with Class, Jordan has won a $100 RBC Royal Bank RESP, a $100 Dairy Queen Cornwall gift card, 6-foot party sub for the whole class from Subway, and a digital camera from Jtec Audiotronic.
