Learn how to protect yourself and loved ones this March, during Fraud Prevention Month. A representative from the Bank of Canada will be at Cornwall Public Library on March 29 to draw public attention to fraud and how to protect yourself from being victimized.
In this program, you will receive the tools to help you to easily identify fake money. Seniors are a special focus for the Bank of Canada this year. Many of them don't report being defrauded for a number of reasons, including embarrassment.
You can't control what fraudsters do. But your response to their activity can make all the difference for your bottom line.
This program is free of charge but registration is necessary. Sign up now for the 7:00 p.m. program on March 29 at the Library. You can do so in person at 45 Second Street East or by phone at 613-932-4796, ask for the Information Services Desk.
