Soldiers speak to students

Former General Vanier student, now a captain in the Canadian Air Force, Isaac Goldberg, and his wife, Canadian Army Captain Meghan Joiner, dropped by his alma mater on Friday, June 5. The couple spoke to the students about their recent deployment in Afghanistan. Goldberg, an aircraft maintenance officer for the C130 Hercules, and Joiner, who worked in the Canadian-led hospital at the Kandahar airfield, proudly wore their campaign stars, awarded for honourable service in the presence of an armed enemy.
