Mr. James Macfarlane of Cornwall, was cleaning his mother’s basement when he discovered the framed “Troop Charter." His grandfather was the first Troop Leader of 2nd Cornwall in 1921 and hence had the charter. It is dated Dec. 17, 1921 and signed by Executive Secretary Frank Irwin and by a Provincial Commissioner. It states that the Troop’s date of original organization was Nov. 22, 1921 and was numbered # 209.
