A special day is coming up for the Cornwall Curling Centre.

On Monday a special ceremony is being convened at the curling centre to mark the retirement of its mortgage.

The mortgage on the multi-million dollar property is being paid off ahead of schedule.

An announcement is being made by the curling centre's board of directors at 4 p.m. Monday.
