    It's not sensationalist at all. The article doesn't tell the whole story. If the Ontario gov't closes the slots at the racetracks, it's true that the racing industry will lose their share of the slots revenue, but DUH, the Ontario gov't will lose it's share too. There will be no funds to redirect. They are just killing the industry will no benefit to anyone else. It's lose-lose. Unless, of course, you take into consideration that they want to open a Las Vegas style mega casino in Toronto and someone's got money under the table to get rid of the competition!

    why can't they travel to other racecourses outside state boundaries like the rest of the world? Is there a law that says they can only race within 5 miles of the stable?? Tad sensationalist I think...
