If you plan to be on the road during the Thanksgiving long weekend, you better be following the rules.
Police agencies through the country, including Cornwall and the OPP, will be targetting speeders, those not wearing seatbelts and others drinking or using their cell phones during Operation Impact.
Operation Impact is a co-ordinated effort between police agencies across the country to work toward the goal of road safety.
Officers will be highly visible this weekend.
Drivers and passengers across Cornwall are being reminded by police to consciously consider safety whenever they get behind the wheel. Slow down, buckle seatbelts and ensure youngsters are properly restrained in vehicles according to their age and size.
