Norm Levac is Cornwall’s new chief administrative officer

The Corporation of the City of Cornwall named Normand Levac, the city’s new chief administrative officer.

He will take over his new role Jan. 1.

“I am very pleased that Mr. Levac has agreed to take on this very important position with the corporation and I, along with the rest of council look forward to working with him,” said Mayor Bob Kilger.

Levac has been employed by the city for 25 years and has held various positions including design engineer, assistant manager engineering and manager of engineering. His most recent post was as manager of infrastructure services.

Levac also spent more than three years with the National Research Council where he was responsible for the National Guide to Sustainable Municipal Infrastructure.

Levac is bilingual and is a graduate of University of Ottawa.
