The Ontario Labour Relations Board has ruled that a walkout planned for today by elementary teachers is illegal - which forced the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario to cancel the protest.

Schools within the Upper Canada District School Board were open today anyway, and it will now be business as usual.

The decision by the labour relations board came early Friday morning. The union has vowed to fight the provincial government on its controversial Bill 115 in other ways.
