Okay - it's cold, and about to get even colder tonight.

Environment Canada has posted a wind chill warning for the Cornwall area and Seaway Valley because cold temperatures combined with breazy conditions overnight will make it feel like close to minus 40 C.

Yah, minus 40.

A frigid arctic air mass has entrenched itself over Ontario and has been sending the mercury plunging for most of this week.

Exposed skin can freeze in no time under such conditions, so residents are advised to remain indoors and if one is forced to leave their home, they should bundle up accordingly.

Temperatures are expected to increase to a balmy minus 11 - by Monday.
