Are you already thinking about summer camps and programs for your children for this year? The Stormont, Dundas, and Glengarry County Library wants to hear from you.

Offered annually, the TD Summer Reading Club is a literacy-based program that strives to engage all children in the joy of reading during the summer months while they are out of school.

Last year, the Library had 620 children participating in the program across SD&G, with over 4,000 books read over the summer. Activities for the program were also offered at each branch for an hour per week.

This year, the SD&G County Library is considering revamping the program.

“We’ve had a number of comments about and interest in different formats for the program” explained Erika Heesen, Communications and Marketing Librarian. “We’re gauging the interest out there for a day camp versus one- to two-hour program activities per week, and we’re asking interested people to fill out a survey and give us their opinions."

The survey is available in all branches of the SD&G County Library and online at http://bit.ly/UeU6cm until Feb. 28.
