The Kinsmen Club of Cornwall has been named the title sponsor for a popular summertime hot-air balloon festival.

Cornwall Lift-Off announced Wednesday the local service club will anchor the sponsorship package for the 10th year in a row.

“We have had a great relationship with the Kinsmen Club of Cornwall and are very pleased to have their continued support,” said Lift-Off co-chair Jason Jesmer.

His counterpart at the board table was equally pleased.

“The 16-member board has been working behind the scenes since October to shape the event,” said Mary Marleau. “We are always looking for active members of the community to help the event get off the ground.”

Lift-Off fundraising chair Brian Mulligan said purchasing tickets for the upcoming “Ultimate Valentine’s Day Package” will allow people to experience riding in a hot air balloon. Included in the package, a Kinsmen Cornwall Lift-Off balloon ride for two with champagne.
