CORNWALL, Ontario - Grade seven and eight students representing area schools had breakfast with members of the Cornwall Community Police Services at the Boys and Girls Club on First and Marlborough.

Students were given details of the ninth annual Cops and Rockers MuchMusic Video Dance Party, to be held on April 26, at the Cornwall Armouries.

The fundraiser is an opportunity for students to interact and dance with city police officers in a fun and non-threatening atmosphere while raising money to help keep the Boys and Girls Club clubhouse running.

Proceeds from the event go towards general operations and in particular this year to create an outdoor basketball area north of the building.

Students will be canvassing for pledges throughout the community and online for a chance to win prizes.
