CORNWALL, Ontario - Hear that? It's the sound of city hall digging into your pocket book.
Councillors will meet Thursday evening to go over a report from administrators that recommends hiking the water and sewer rates in Cornwall by 3.84 per cent.
The move, if approved, is going to cost the average homeowner between $20 and $30 more in 2014, depending on how many fixtures they havein their house, and whether or not they have such amenities as an additional bathroom or a swimming pool.
More to come.
