CORNWALL, Ontario – The drug that has created an international political storm in Toronto has led to several charges for a 27-year-old Laval man.
Cornwall police seized a quantity of crack cocaine at a Brookdale Avenue apartment on Dec. 3.
Cornwall police's street crime unit seized 7.1 grams of crack cocaine, a small amount of marijuana, cash and drug paraphernalia after executing a drug warrant on Dec. 3 at a Brookdale Avenue apartment.
The street value of the drugs is estimated to be approximately $730.
Police have charged Zain Abdin, of Laval, Quebec, with possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of property obtained by crime (money) and two counts of breach of undertaking for being within the City of Cornwall and for failing to keep the peace.
