Police arrest alleged cocaine pushers

CORNWALL, Ontario – Two men have been arrested for allegedly selling cocaine.

Police have taken $1,100 worth of cocaine off the streets after two Cornwall men were charged with possession of cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Cornwall police street crime unit members seized 11 grams of cocaine, estimated at a street value of $1,100, from a First Street East address.

Mathieu Decoeur, 25 and Travis Pyke, 24 both of Cornwall, have been charged with possession of cocaine and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

Decoeur is also charged with a breach of undertaking for being in possession of drugs and failing to keep the peace

In addition, Pyke is facing three counts of breach of undertaking for associating with a person known to have a criminal record, associating with a person known to use drugs and failing to keep the peace. He also allegedly disposed of some of the drugs and was given an extra charge of obstruction.

Both were held for a bail hearing.
