Groupe Renaissance Group president Chuck Charlebois at the Cornwall Harbour last summer.
CORNWALL, Ontario - Chuck Charlebois will be on the playbill for one high-profile meeting next week - but it remains to be seen about the other.
City hall confirmed the Groupe Renaissance Group president will be on the agenda for the regular council meeting scheduled for Monday evening.
But so far there has been no indication he will be allowed to participate in a gathering between the city, federal government and a company building chemical storage tanks on Cornwall's waterfront that takes place the next day.
"I'm still expecting a positive reply to my request to attend that meeting," Charlebois said.
He is expected to make a presentation to city councillors outlining the criticism of the tank project that has all of Cornwall in an uproar.
Charlebois hopes to bring an expert with him to Monday's council meeting, though he was not in a position to confirm names as of Tuesday. Charlebois is good friends with McGill University professor and architect Dr. Avi Friedman.
